The plant you will receive will be between these ranges of size as there will be slight differences from the photos in the listing as no two plants are the same. They will be guaranteed vibrant and healthy and ready for transplanting. We do not ship with the pot as the pot allows for too much soil moisture evaporation. The stem will be strewn with buds for this coming spring’s growth. General Description: A low-to-medium sized Gable hybrid developed and introduced by the late Joseph Gable of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania. Hardiness Zone: 5 to 8 Maintenance: Low to Medium Mature Height: 4 to 5 feet Mature Width: 4 to 5 feet Plant Details: Growth Habit: Dense, compact, multi-stemmed habit, slow grower. Leaf Structure: Evergreen ¾ inch long, glossy green tinged with red. Autumn and winter color turn wine red. Stem Structure: Young growth soft green to red matures to light brown. Bark Structure: Light brown, somewhat exfoliating. Soil Preference: Peat, Loam, Sand. Well-drained, high organic matter.
