Recently, we decided to complete the package by adding one of the best chain brands on the market: RK Takasago. As you can see here , they are a technical partner for top-class teams and riders competing in all major world championships, attesting to their quality and reliability. You can choose one of the classic finishes: Gold or Black Scale. There is no other chain manufacturer supplying more chains in MotoGP, WSBK, WSS, FIM, IOM, NW200 & BSB If you’re unsure which one to get, check your OEM rear sprocket; it will state 525 or 520. 525 chain is the same as many OEM road sprockets; if you already have this, there is no need to change it unless you want to upgrade to the 520. The 520 chain is an upgrade from the 525. The 520 is used more for racing and is lighter than the 525. If upgrading to a 520, you must change both your front and rear sprockets (sold separately). All chains are supplied as “open” (so you can trim it according to your bike’s specs): 520 and 525 pitch with 120 links, 530 are 118 links instead. BEWARE: Diavel V4 and Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak / RS are not currently available, sorry. RK ZXW Series was developed to meet the specs of the latest models of extreme superbike 1000cc and above. The RK ZXW series features RK’s only technology, XW-Ring, which has two lubrication pools and three contact lips. It also has a triple barrier structure to seal the lubrication further and prevent debris from entering the chain. No other chain currently on the market has these features. RK ZXW Series is designed to be the strongest, longest-lasting chain available in today’s market. They have the highest tensile strength of the RK series and high rigidity for instant response on acceleration.
