Nice old German made Korten & Scherf Doctors Pattern pocket knife from Solingen. The blade is stamped Korten & Scherf, Germany and etched «Garantito,» Italian for guaranteed. Korten & Scherf dates from the early 20th century until the 1950’s. The blade has been reshaped into a stiletto profile and has excellent action. The wood handle has a very nice profile and is crack and wear free. It is perfect for opening letters and other jobs needing a sharp tapering blade. Please see item photos and condition report.
