Starting with the Pro 5R it is constructed with five layer gauze offering maximum air flow and filtration. The patented Pro Guard 7 is a seven layer enhancing the Pro 5R with an additional 2 layers of synthetic material, however both the Pro 5R and Pro Guard 7 do require oil recharging.
